Meet the Ultimate Therapy Bundle Authors

Chanda has a background in school-based and orthopedic physical therapy. She is the voice behind Pink Oatmeal. She loves working with her own kiddos to film motor skills videos and create activities for you! When she is not working on Pink Oatmeal, she spends her time driving kids to activities, watching her kids activities and cooking for her kids. She lives in Minnesota with her husband, 3 kids, and senior golden retriever.

Laurie Gombash is a pediatric PT with a passion to share with others the benefits of learning through movement, creator of ABC’s of Movement®, and National OPEN trainer.  

Heather Greutman is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with school-based experience for ages 3-18. She uses her background to share child development tips, tools, and strategies to help you encourage your child or students to reach their fullest potential through hands-on play and developmentally appropriate activities. She is the co-author of Sensory Processing Explained: A Handbook for Parents and Educators along with other ebooks including Basics of Fine Motor Skills. Laura is a pediatric Occupational Therapist who uses neurodiverse affirmative language and approaches to teach parents, teachers and therapists how to support sensory needs in children. She does this through her website, blog, podcast, social media and digital courses and coaching programs for parents. Cindy is a registered occupational therapist with over 20 years experience, practicing in Sydney, Australia. She has two growing children who are a constant source of inspiration and learning. Cindy loves working creatively to help children to reach their potential, finding opportunities in everyday living and making learning fun. Alene has worked with children for more than 25 years. Her primary goal is to help children reach their fullest academic potential. She is the founder of Integrated Learning Strategies (ILS) and course creator of the Integrate with Success Program and Integrated Movement Center. Her methods and strategies have helped hundreds of kids excel in many areas of development, including behavioral, emotional, physical and academic. Alene is not an Occupational Therapist or Pediatric Therapist, but has received several trainings and certifications over the past 25 years. She began her training in movement therapy, brain integration, music therapy and is certified in many other programs. She is also an Orofacial Myofunctional (OFM), Certified Natural Health Practitioner (CNHP), Brain Integration Therapist (BIT) and has a Bachelor of Science degree. She now has Occupational Therapists and other professionals on staff to help parents and therapists become successful in helping kids reach their fullest academic potential.

Margaret Rice, PT is the owner of Your Therapy Source Inc. She has created more than 100 resources to help children succeed in the classroom. The packets and forms help therapists, teachers, and parents have ready-to-go activities to encourage fine motor, gross motor, visual perceptual, handwriting, balance, coordination skills and more!

Emily Bales, OTR is a pediatric occupational therapist. She works as a school based OT in Texas. As an OT who serves students within elementary classrooms, my goal is to create materials that can be used collaboratively by occupational therapists, speech therapists, teachers, and other professionals to improve student outcomes.

Julie Marzano, OT, worked in the Delaware public school system for 15 years serving ages 3-21 before moving to her current job at an approved private school. At Julie's current placement , she serves individuals ages 3-21 with complex needs as well as consultation with the birth-3 population. Julie's academic specializations are in early childhood and sensory integration. In addition, she is a nationally certified SIPT therapist. Emily McCarthy, SLP, has been working as a clinician for 17 years. She worked in both the Delaware and Pennsylvania public school system for 11 years. While there, she worked in multiple specialized programs, including Autistic Support, Early Childhood, Complex Needs and General Education. Emily now serves the birth-3 population in Pennsylvania with a specific interest in Augmentative & Alternative Communication.

Lauren Drobnjak, PT and Claire Heffron MS OTR/L are practicing pediatric physical and occupational therapiss and are the creators of The Inspired Treehouse where they share activities, ideas, information, and resources to support healthy development for kids. They are the authors of several books and courses, including The Core Strengthening Handbook and Playful Learning Labs for Kids.

Rebecca Kadowaki is a pediatric occupational therapist in northwest Indiana. She is the author of the evidence-based Contact with Nature and Executive Function Toolkit, and is a huge advocate of getting kids outdoors to play!  She recently earned her post-professional doctorate in occupational therapy, focusing her research on the impact of contact with nature on children’s health and well being. When she’s not providing therapy, you can find Rebecca frolicking along the Indiana Dunes, baking bread, or reading out in the grass.

Regina Parsons-Allen is a certified occupational therapy assistant and the author of the COTA Life blog. She enjoys creating therapy resources and sharing ideas to support child development while framing fun for children and the adults that support them. 

Sara has her doctorate in occupational therapy and experience working with adults and children. She has a passion for helping families and professionals work with autistic teens and young adults to help them achieve their goals. She blogs about life skills resources at Learning For a Purpose.

Stacy Menz, PT, DPT, PCS is a pediatric clinical specialist and the owner of Starfish Therapies. Stacy received her Master’s degree at Boston University in 2000 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Boston University in 2005. She is the founder and owner of Starfish Therapies, a pediatric physical therapy company in the San Francisco Bay Area. Stacy has experience as a teaching/lab assistant for Boston University, South College, and Chapman University's Doctor of Physical Therapy programs and teaches continuing education courses for pediatric physical therapy. She is the editor of Impact, the Private Practice Section's magazine and is a board member for KEEN San Francisco. 

Colleen Beck, OTR/L is an occupational therapist with 20 years experience, graduating from the University of Pittsburgh in 2000. Colleen created The OT Toolbox to inspire therapists, teachers, and parents with easy and fun tools to help children thrive. As the creator, author, and owner of the website and its social media channels, Colleen strives to empower those serving kids of all levels and needs.
